Terms of Use
RoadTrips showcases curated itineraries and travel insights intended for inspiration and planning support. We do our best to keep information accurate and current; however, road conditions, venue hours, pricing, and regulations can change without notice. Always verify details with official sources before you travel.
- Informational purpose. Content is for personal trip planning. We do not offer professional travel, legal, or safety advice.
- User responsibility. You are responsible for confirming road closures, weather advisories, driving requirements, and local regulations before departure.
- Intellectual property. All itineraries, copy, graphics, and design assets are owned by RoadTrips unless otherwise noted. You may link to the site and share brief excerpts with attribution; please contact us for broader reuse.
- User submissions. When you email suggestions or routes, you confirm you have rights to share the material and grant RoadTrips a non-exclusive license to review, edit, and publish the content with credit where possible.
- Liability. RoadTrips is not liable for losses, injuries, delays, or damages related to the use of our itineraries or third-party resources referenced on the site.
Privacy Policy
We respect your privacy and only collect the data necessary to operate and improve RoadTrips. By using the site, you consent to the practices described below.
Information We Collect
- Contact information. When you email us or submit a route, we store the message and address to respond to your request.
- Usage analytics. We plan to use Google Analytics and Google Search Console to understand traffic patterns, page performance, and search visibility. These services may collect IP addresses, device details, and browsing behavior through cookies or similar technologies.
- Future advertising data. If we introduce ads or sponsored placements later on, we may collect campaign performance data to measure effectiveness.
How We Use Your Information
- Respond to questions and collaborate on submitted routes.
- Improve site content, navigation, and itinerary coverage.
- Monitor performance, detect issues, and enhance security.
- Comply with legal obligations or enforce our terms.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. Trusted service providers (hosting, analytics, email) may process data on our behalf, bound by confidentiality obligations. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and users.
Data Retention & Rights
- We retain contact emails and related correspondence as long as needed to resolve your request or maintain a record of editorial suggestions.
- You may request a copy of information we hold about you or ask us to delete it at any time by emailing roadtripsdotlive@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days.
- Analytics data is aggregated and may be stored according to the provider’s retention settings.
Cookie Policy
Cookies and similar technologies help us understand site usage and improve your experience. We currently plan to deploy Google Analytics and Google Search Console, both of which use cookies and may set additional identifiers. You can manage cookies through your browser settings or opt out of Google Analytics via the official browser add-on.
Additional cookies may be introduced if we roll out advertising or affiliate tracking. We will update this policy before new cookies go live.
Sponsorship & Advertising
RoadTrips does not currently feature sponsored itineraries, affiliate links, or ads. We may introduce them in the future to support ongoing coverage. If we do:
- Sponsored content will be clearly labeled as such.
- Affiliate links will be disclosed near the link or in a section header.
- Advertising partners must align with our travel values and quality standards.
Sponsored or affiliate relationships will never influence our commitment to accuracy or the editorial review process.
Accessibility Commitment
We aim to make RoadTrips accessible to as many travelers as possible. If you encounter a barrier—such as missing alt text, keyboard navigation issues, or color contrast concerns— please notify us at roadtripsdotlive@gmail.com. We review all feedback and work to resolve issues promptly.
